Intel’s new mobile phone chip is surprising in many ways, but the biggest surprise is its speed.

Evaluation site Anandtech, in the International Consumer Electronics Show, Intel announced code-named Medfield Atom Z2460 chip, far more than some of the fastest phones on the market. If the Intel-based mobile phone to achieve the performance as the Anandtech claims, it will become best-selling products like the Apple iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

Anandtech said, “In the SunSpider test, the performance of Intel’s Medfield reference platform we tested were higher than any other smart phones, including running the Ice Cream Sandwich’s Galaxy Nexus and iPhone 4S.” Even if the Medfield run Ice Cream Sandwich, test results were not with major changes. Anandtech noted that in BrowserMark test, Medfield reference platform “score with the Tablet PC very” over the Galaxy Nexus and iPhone 4S.

Another surpriing was that all of these were completed by a CPU core. Analysis of the performance tests results showed that Intel’s Medfield has a real competitive advantage.

Intel is also developing code-named Silvermont Atom chip, using 22-nanometer manufacturing process, which can provide for the smart phone equivalent mainstream notebooks performance. 14-nm process, codenamed Airmont Atom chip will provide better performance.

January 10th news, at the CES show in Las Vegas, Samsung unveiled intelligent TV advertising platform AdHub. Publishers and brands can use the service, from Samsung intelligent TV interface to send video, 3D content and interactive advertising for users.

Users click on the ads can watch the video, or links to the new procedures and services. Through Samsung’s 3D video on-demand service “Explore 3D”, advertisers can publish 3D TV ads. If a mobile application developers have published contents on AdHub, they can benefit from the Android platform and Bada platform. Developers can choose advertising network for free, select the ad presentation way in the program.

Later of this year, Samsung will launch a solution for smart television advertising, then the advertising will be displayed on the big screen. Developers can download SDK3.0 tools.

Samsung has launched Smart TV advertising in the United States and South Korea, Best Buy and State Farm has became its customers.

January 2th news, according to media reports that hackers have developed a flexible approach, it’s able to run iPad’s full-screen iOS applications on jailbreak Apple TV device.

According to reports, in two well-known hackers’ online video and photo, they have cracked Apple’s set-top box device, which known as MobileX key procedures. A hacker called “Troughton-Smith” said, MobileX is a window manager for iOS, and through replacement and cracked by hackers, it can run applications on Apple TV devices which only applies to the iPad and iPhone. And in this video released by the hacker, these applications are run in full screen.

It’s reported that after Apple introduced the Apple TV, hackers were crack on the relevant critical procedures. At present, Apple warned users to escape through other means run the unauthorized code application on iOS device, it may lead equipment maintenance.
